What's with the hate people? We know nothing. No release date, no gameplay footage, nothing.
Rocksteady made an amazing first game and just because they already announced a sequel doesn't mean they are going to rush it and make it suck. They've had about 4 months since the first one. It will be at least a year, if not more till it comes out. A year and a half sounds reasonable to me and given the polish they put on the first one I have a feeling they will take their time to make a fantastic followup.
I'm looking forward to it and that's why I said: "I believe in Harvey Dent."

well to be fair, all the interesting characters are on the island, Dr. Freeze and Clayface.. I mean, I guess they could use the mad hatter? there are a lot of DC universe characters they could use, but I think the main attractions were in the first one..

Too soon for me, I dislike the way expansion packs are now sequels.
And yes I know the game will probably be as long or longer than the original and have new features, I am just saying I miss the days when a sequel meant a new engine, new ideas, new gameplay. Quick releases with the same engine, the same gameplay for the most part and many reused assets used to be expansion territory.

You know, nobody has explicitly said it's a sequel, maybe it's dlc.
I'd be really happy if it was dlc.

Unless it's expansion-level content (ala GTA4) I can't see them going to all this trouble for a bit of DLC.
