Kvnt: Player_01 thanks for the useful reply, you're one of the few people who aren't here to increase their post count, and hopefully get some rep with the GOG staff by posting defensively for people they don't even know.

And again - it's not just about one person, or two people. It's more than that. Sure, keep the excuses coming, that won't change a thing. GOG can change it. All you kids who come here and whine because I actually make people aware that there's a problem here - go cry somewhere else, I could really not care less.

I'm glad some of you get support when you need it, there's just too many people who don't.

Hm... so I take it attacking and accusing people you don't even know is better than defending them? I applaud critical feedback if it calls attention to serious issues, but constructive criticsm isn't the same the thing as ranting and throwing insults. Your complaint was a valid one but I can't say I agree with your tone (neither with the tone of some other posters who attacked you though).

To be fair, I have to admit the problem I had with missing replies from the support staff was several months ago, possibly before the new staff members were hired and chances are other members who claim support is lacking partially still refer to their past experiences, too (and you said yourself the case of your husband was more than 7 mnths ago). In your case something evidentially went wrong again but in the end you got help from support after all and the responsible GOG employee actually admitted his fault and apologized. And I'd guess it was despite your aggressive tone, not because of it ...

Regardless of whether the official support is good or not, one thing you can say about GOG.com is that at least the discussions on the forums aren't as rude and poisoned as on most other forums on the net yet. Most people are actually here to help, not to fight. And not knowing each other doesn't prevent them from being nice.
