Okay, I tried again and the AI are really, really finicky. First off, it takes AGES until they settle on what votes they want and pass, and getting to the next turn if there are two or more takes quite a while. I had to sell and rebuy a vote to get them to chill.

Second, they seem to break after a certain point and the game gets stuck on "waiting for other players." It's happened twice now. Once on turn 2 and once on turn 3.

I just released the latest build! 0.9.2 corrects both problems you described (though there are doubtless other, smaller issues lurking in the corner). The UI hanging was caused by a complicated domino effect of bugs, while the AI being stupid was the result of the AI being stupid. I've implemented a temporary solution to the latter problem, which puts a cap on the number of Investment Phase actions the AI can take before passing.

@Everyone thank you for feedback on the pricing question. I'd rather not give a definite answer, but it sounds like offline play ought to be free, and I'll give LAN some more thought over the next few months.

Haven't gotten to sit down with it yet, but any chance 0.9.2 fixes the game not closing correctly, as well? If I open my Task Manager after playing (even hours later), neocol.exe is still running.
