mystikmind2000: I played Disciples last night and love it!
I'm very glad to hear it! I don't remember when was it last time when game absorbed me as much as Disciples did. I was playing, playing, playing and suddenly I realized I was extremely. I went to the kitchen, prepared something and started eating. Of course I was thinking about my conquest but then I saw a clock. It was 4 AM...

The game is great but not flawless. Some parts are so nonsensical that the developer should be ashamed. I mean, why should I even consider choosing the witch hunter path?! It has only two upgrades whereas knight path has three. It's obvious that with more possible levels unit will get more hit points, attack and so one. The same thing with an archer. He can be promoted only once! A wizard not only has a better damage value (45 vs 40) but he attacks all units at once.

But even with those drawbacks the game is brilliant. I've beaten the Empire's and and Undead Hordes' Sagas, both on hard difficulty. And man, it was indeed hard as nails, especially playing the undead (Empire has healears - it's so much easier with them). I think I will take a brake, play some other games and return to Mountain Clans and Legions of the Damned later.

My replies would not go through last Friday, that was annoying, took the time to reply to people and then when i click 'post' it sits there thinking about it and will never go through. i wonder will it let me this week?

Edit: ok its working, then i will reply to above post.

Yes i noticed the archer and which hunter funny business.

I am now at the third level playing on 'easy'. Even so, i am finding this level quite frustrating - it is the first level where the new parties i create are pretty much totally dickless, (even with Titans) useful only for getting dead. Which leaves me with the catch 22 'buy' experience where you can buy the experience you need to win a battle but then you don't get that experience that you need to be able to win a battle unless you win a battle!!!!!

The only way here is to recall my main leader from his important work to come and wipe noses and change nappies of these new recruits.
