No, really, NASA's got an agreement to make a space explroation MMO. My two geek sides (the scientist and the gamer) are wondering if this will turn out as a match made in heaven or hell on earth. I hope it's worth my tax dollars, even though they say they want a subscription model, I have a feeling that may fall through.
As Ren & Stimpy say "Could be good, could be bad. No one knows!"

Its going to be an educational "game", which means it will likely be of interest to schools and teachers, but I don't see it as something the general gaming public will have any interest in.
Well it's an MMO where you're unlikely to find the traditional grind at least. Unless you're all playing as mars rovers and have to go & collect 10 dangerous rocks for mission control...
Makes me think of Noctis.

I'm thinking more along the lines of "Collect 10 Clean Water Molecules". The drop rate on those little buggers? 0.0000000001 %. Have fun!
