I remember I almost bought Battle Realms when it first came out (the setting looked amazing), but I haven't played it yet. Is it too frenzy for someone who sucks at RTS games?

Not a fan of birthdays or RTS, for pretty much the same reason: they both occur in real time, and are pretty much biased against you from the start.
+1 to you though, tinyE. I'm sure you'll, um... dispose of it soon enough. ;)
