One of the sections does say "Time difference from today (Thursday, March 17, 2011):", so I assume that if it doesn't account for time zones you'll have to adjust according to what it says there (ie. if that says today's date the calculation is correct, if it's yesterday [or, less likely, tomorrow] you'll have to adjust by one).

I knew about this page from the very beginning and I’ve visited gog.com quite frequently but I decided to join on 2010-03-08. 10 min after registration my first purchase: Freespace 2. I bought it to re-play Freespace1/2 campaigns via SCP. It was also first time in my life I used VISA card to pay on-line. It took me 2 months to buy another gog title (Gabriel Knight 1) but only a week to buy next :-). Until today I own 40 titles with another 50 on wishlist. It may sound a bit odd but I’m dead serious with this: if entire gaming industry, excluding gog.com, would disappear – I would not care.

I think that there's enough on here to merit a full lifetime of gaming entertainment. I enjoy many others, of course, but there's tons of really good games here. And I've just touched the tip of the iceberg, I'm sure.

Can't deny. Well.. with two kids on board (daughter is only 15 months old)- I'm realistic - I'll be able to start some serious gaming in 3 years maybe...but MAN - what variety of classics will I have on my gog account until that day :-)

I already heard about GOG long before that, since I frequent an abandonware website/forum (that takes care to remove the download links everytime a game is available on GOG, so yeah you can argue that abandonware is not legal but that website is quite strict with not providing games still sold, and ESA actually know about it), but did not really join GOG until... May 20, 2010 apparently.

I can't remember where I first heard about GoG, maybe Amazon. Eventually I decided to check it out and saw they had Psychonauts. Register and bought a game.

My GOG birthday is May 23rd, I believe. I learned about GOG from X-Play. They talked about it for about ten seconds, but it sounded interesting, so I gave it a shot. No regrets whatsoever.
