In celebration of this awesome DRM free fall sale, I've decided to give away 3 games:

Deponia
Unepic
Valdis Story

Rules
1. 10+ rep
2. Enter for only yourself
3. No regifting/trading

Giveaway ends next Monday November 24 at 11:59 PM PST
I'll pick 3 winners via random.org and PM them Tuesday November 25th

To enter:
1. Respond with "I'm in" and what game you want
2. Topic of discussion: when is the last time you have bought a game not on sale/discounted and what game was it? Any regrets? If you have never bought a game not on sale, what game (if any) would you buy for full price?

Personally I only buy games for full price I know I will truly enjoy for full price to support the developers who make it i.e. Bioshock Infinite, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2. I made the mistake of buying Brink for full price. That turned out to be a huge disappointment. I've become a lot more careful.

Good luck!

Not in, but +1!
Not in (obviously, as my rep disqualifies me thus far).

The last game I bought at full price was The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut, from GOG (naturally). 'Twas the first game I bought here, and even though my playthrough of it kind of stalled out a couple months ago, less than halfway through (from what I gather), I consider it to have been a worthwhile expenditure. I've payed less than half (in some cases, less than a quarter) of what I payed for The Witcher for some other games here since, and regretted the purchase far more.
I am in for Unepic, thanks.

My last full-price purchase would have been Die by the Sword in 2009, my first purchase from GOG. I do not regret it because I wanted to play it right then.

I don't want to restrict people from the giveaway so I've lowered my rule for that. I just want to make sure the games go to a loving place.

Feel free to update your post with what game you want to enter for!
+1 For the post.

Not in but thank you for the giveaway
I'm in for Valdis Story, Great give away +1 for you

It's funny you talk about games from Blizzard entertainment ... ""Yesterday"" I brough Diablo II (whiout the expansion) on Battle.net at full price... It is the first time I buy something there. LOL.... I have only one complaint ... I do not like having to be "forced to play" I have read blizzard will delete your account if is inactive for 90 days. it was the only thing that annoyed me ... but everything else is great game.

+1(,000!) for your kindness, but I probably wouldn't play any of those games, sooo...still not in. =)

I'm not really interested in giveaways, but I sometimes click on the threads anyway. (As you've probably noticed, they're hard to avoid here. XD ) In this case, I was curious how somebody's first giveaway might be themed/organized. Your "conversation starter" question in the OP lured me into responding. I apologize if it seemed I was griping that I couldn't enter; I was merely pointing out that I couldn't have entered had I wanted to (which I didn't :D ).

Sorry for any confusion, and again: Much gratitude!

From what I understand it's only for multiplayer using the old Battle.net. Here's the official statement on that.

does used count too or is that seen as discounted as well ?

if it counts then the last game i bought that wasnt discounted is amazing spiderman for the xbox 360
i went in with low expectations and came away with a great game
the best spiderman game since 2 the movie game
1) I'm in for Valdis Story.

2) Ghostbusters the video game; not really.

Will pre-order Witcher 3 once I get some money.
Not in, Thanks for the giveaway.

Last game that I bought which wasn't discounted was Divinity Original Sin and had no reason to regret my purchase. Witcher 3 has got my interest now but it doesn't meet your criteria since it's discounted by 20%.

Yeah I remember playing Spiderman 2 as well it was really fun!

Also, I'm not sure if you wanted to enter the giveaway or not as you didn't specify what game you wanted to enter for.

I've heard good things about Ghostbusters, haven't gotten a chance to play it yet.

Seems like everyone makes informed decisions, that's good.
Yup, I will pick up W3 as well after I beat the first two.

Thanks, I'm in for Valdis Story , since it is on my wishlist and it never get a good discount (I didn't buy the bundle here on GOG because I had some of the game included, so it wasn't a good deal).

The last game I bought full price is Valkyria Chronicles, I bought it yesterday but it wasn't really full price, since a friend of mine took me a copy from Russia, so I payed the game around 10€.

I didn't try the game yet because it's 17 GB of download, and with my crappy connection it would require a lot, maybe I can give it a try on Saturday (I hope).

Anyway, thanks a lot for the giveaway :)
