DProject: So, the day has finally come for me as well. I've spent 1000 days on GOG. I joined Dec 21, 2009. I can't say I was very active on the forums at first, just wanted to grab some childhood memorabilia as an early Christmas present for myself when I joined (and bought ten games in a pack if I remember correctly), but eventually I began to see that the site is good for other things too, since it has a community that I think it's the best one on the internet.
I'm not going to throw a huge celebration party or anything, but I do feel I should give at least a little bit back. So, against my somewhat cheapskate nature, I'll give away one person a game of their choice from the current D&D Promo. All I ask is this: should you win, play the game too and don't just let it sit there gathering dust and expand a backlog that's already beyond your capabilities of clearing. If that's the case, let someone else have a chance instead. I know there are people who'd like a certain game but can't afford it, even at the current price: these are the people I'd most want to win. Nevertheless, random.org (or a good argument why YOU should win) shall pick the winner before the promo ends. And one more thing: I'd also like to know how many days you have been here! So even if you don't want to enter the giveaway, please post your number of days here. It can be found under My Account -> Settings.
Thank you GOG for these great 1000 days; here's to another thousand!
And good luck, giveaway participants! =)
Edit: Oh, forgot to mention: If you wish to participate, post which game you'd like and why.
Not entering, But thanks for the giveaway and Congratz on being on gog for 1000 days and i hope to see you here for a million more :)
