woah just checked now
and Days on GOG.com
1001

hmm
I signed up 4 days ago. If I win, I want Baldur's Gate 2. The reason I want this game is because it is one of the best games ever made, in my opinion. The story is original. The NPCs are extremely interesting. And I love how in this game, the NPCs interact with you and each other in a very human way. I want this game so I can play this game again. I used to own several purchased physical copies of the game but I lost them all to an act of temporary stupidity. :( A real tragedy...

DProject: So, the day has finally come for me as well. I've spent 1000 days on GOG. I joined Dec 21, 2009. I can't say I was very active on the forums at first, just wanted to grab some childhood memorabilia as an early Christmas present for myself when I joined (and bought ten games in a pack if I remember correctly), but eventually I began to see that the site is good for other things too, since it has a community that I think it's the best one on the internet.

I'm not going to throw a huge celebration party or anything, but I do feel I should give at least a little bit back. So, against my somewhat cheapskate nature, I'll give away one person a game of their choice from the current D&D Promo. All I ask is this: should you win, play the game too and don't just let it sit there gathering dust and expand a backlog that's already beyond your capabilities of clearing. If that's the case, let someone else have a chance instead. I know there are people who'd like a certain game but can't afford it, even at the current price: these are the people I'd most want to win. Nevertheless, random.org (or a good argument why YOU should win) shall pick the winner before the promo ends. And one more thing: I'd also like to know how many days you have been here! So even if you don't want to enter the giveaway, please post your number of days here. It can be found under My Account -> Settings.

Thank you GOG for these great 1000 days; here's to another thousand!
And good luck, giveaway participants! =)

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention: If you wish to participate, post which game you'd like and why.
Not entering, But thanks for the giveaway and Congratz on being on gog for 1000 days and i hope to see you here for a million more :)
Congrats on your 24,000 hours on GOG! :)

I've been here 769 days, although most of the early period was spent lurking and not so much involved.

I would like to try Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone because I have most of the other games (all excellent by the way, and love them!) and this seems to be a change of pace and more action oriented. Some different game play.

slaktarn: My game of choice would be Baldur's Gate. i haven't played any of the D'n'D games during my (so far) short and sorry life and thought that would be a good start.

I have only been here 312 days, i joined because i found out they gave out Earth Empire
Hey, me too! :D Not entering (have all of them), but +1. :)
Gratz of 1k days, and thx for giveaway. +1
Not entering cuz there are better ppl to gift than me :)
Only 520 days for me. I can't believe I didn't join sooner.
103 days so far, thanks for a giveaway, I would like to play Planescape, I think thats the only GREAT rpg that I havent played
It appears I've been 500 days on GOG,
I have played Baldur's Gate 1,2 and Planescape, but I have never tried Icewind Dale, That would be my choice.

Thanks DProject for this giveaway!
Wow, that's a lot. Congrats on nearly 3 years of happy GOG time. And thx for a giveaway. :)

Congrats on 1000 days! Not entering, as I have physical copies of the games that are left in the D+D promo on my wishlist, but thank you for your generosity.

I checked my days, and this is day 822 for me! I lurked for a long time before starting to post a few months ago, haha.
407 days now. :) Entering for Icewind Dale if that's ok.
