Hey there folks,

I like music, and I'm sure most of you do, so, for the hell of it, I'm going to ask everyone in the awesome GOG community what their favourite song, album or artist is. I have a lot, but to list a few there is Iggy Pop's album 'The Idiot', SoulEye's 'PPPPPP - The VVVVVV Soundtrack', a whole bunch of David Bowie albums and a whole lot more.

Cheerio,

i used to be a big fan of bowie, but i kind of lost that feeling , and him not making another album in over 8 years well that surely didnt help either.
but i have alot from him , cds, dvds, bootlegs. even payed about 80 euro i believe years ago on some (rare) 4cd remixes set.
even have a bootleg dvd of the concert i been too in rotterdam, where i can see my own back so thats kinda cool.

also like apollo 440 (another band/artist really delaying another upcoming album for too long)

i like alot , from bach's air on g string to rage against the machine's killing in the name of.
Right now I'm listening to Black Sabbath (Electric Funeral, Into the Void, Children of the Grave, Hand of Doom), Metallica (Blackened, ...And Justice for All), and Rage Against the Machine (Wake Up) as an experiment in Christmas music.

But I really enjoy Porno for Pyros' Good God's Urge album. It cycles through most of the feelings I'll experience in a normal day.
at the moment I'm in love with Adam Freeland's album Cope, track Only a Fool in particular.
iggy's the idiot is great. I saw him and the stooges live this summer. Best show of my life. At 60+ years those guys are more youthful and full of energy than most young rock bands.
Right now i'm enjoy any music that's related to David Gilmour.

And this one too:

Damn, Marianne Faithfull. She was very adorable and has great voice 40 years ago. I guess hanging out with rock star isn't good idea.

Close your eyes and enjoy.
You lucky, lucky dude! It's good to hear they're still going strong after about 40 years! Dum Dum Boys and China Girl are my personal favourites, did they play either of those at the gig? If so you are a lucky, lucky, lucky dude!

CaptainAppleMan:
they only played songs from The Stooges and a few from iggy's "kill city" album. When Williamson started doing that intro from search and destroy it was like a kick in the face (in a good way). China girl would have been great. If they ever comes in this part of the world again i'm willing to cross borders to see them again, if you ever get a slight chance to see them go for it, it's worth every drop of effort.
These days I mostly listen to Dead Can Dance, but I like lots of the less mainstream stuff.
Hans Zimmer -Alex on the spot = awesum
I'll lift you up... we'll touch the sky...
