Every Wednesday and only Wednesdays whatever game I am playing in the evening will freeze when MS wants me to reboot and update.

I'm using 8.1 64-bit

Anyway of preventing this aside from switching auto updates off?

Problem is remembering.
Most days I don't remember what day of the week it is. XD

Pisses me off because it feels like a rude goad to get me to reboot.

Yeah, I know, me too. LOL

I think the odds of me remembering to turn it back on after playing would be about the same odds of me winning the lottery jackpot twice in one week.
That reminds me, I've got to uninstall this blasted MS Office. Its so arrogant - no matter what I'm doing, it will minimize it, and remind me to update it... I have to install openoffice or something

Aces! Ill give that a go. MS word is awful, but the spreadsheets are occasionally useful.
