A Jamin Winans double-feature presentation.

From the mind of award-winning indie director come and [url=http://www.gog.com/movie/the_frame]The Frame, two very different stories sharing the same vision that the reality as we know it is just a fragile veil hiding something much bigger, more complex, and scarier. Both feature films are available bundled 25% off for the first week, DRM-free on GOG.com. Movies also available separately.

In Ink the forces of light and dark wage their invisible war for dominion over our dreams. Invisible? Not for all. For John, and his daughter Emma the dream realm becomes the reality as they are forced to fight for their souls with an enemy who would seem to originate from their unconscious minds. But is it really what it is?

The Frame has its protagonists, brought together by what seems like pure chance, race through the world as its very fabric quickly unravels thread by thread. A demonic stranger seeks to undo the reality as we know it in a dangerous game of changing rules and uneven playfield. How can two people protect that, which they themselves don't understand?

Let Jamin Winans sweep the reality as you know it from underneath your feet with Ink and The Frame bundled 25% off until Wednesday, December 24, at 10:59AM GMT.
I might well buy The Ink (the editing of "frame" trailer has too much cuts for my taste). But please GOG sweetie, could you force a little bit your content providers to put subtitles (at least in english)?
Interesting choice these two movies but I sincerely doubt that they can come to the knees of Matrix. Wishlisting for a sale.

Interesting movies.

Won't buy them right away (spent a little too much on games lately), but I'll certainly pick them up in the future.
Wow! Movies, not gaming wannabe documentaries - this is how I want movies section to be!
Great movies both of them. glad to see them in GOG.
Ink is great (haven't seen The Frame yet) and the creators are awesome. If you like mindfuck movies, you should probably buy these.

The page says it has subs (specifically, English and Spanish).
hmm not gaming documentaries so at least some variety there. I'll have to think about it.
I just gave to charity and I'm planning on rebuilding the PC so I'll have to see how much ready cash I end up with.
INK is SO GOOD. First saw it a few years ago, and bought the DVD from them directly. Haven't seen The Frame yet.

Well my mind is already fucked, but the body is always willing. ;P
Ink was an astounding movie, one of the most extraordinary, imaginative films I've seen in years. I would rank it with Pan's Labyrinth, or maybe even beyond it. It's a triumphant execution of "show don't tell" in filmmaking.

I am really rooting for GOG in the movie arena, but until now there hasn't been an offering that tempted me to pull the trigger and buy for myself... Ink is the temptation I've been waiting for. Well done, GOG!

GOG.com: snip...
Small technical issues on the "Ink" library movie page:

File sizes are inverted between 720p and 576p versions (currently shown as 1.55gb and 1.7gb respectively)

In the bonus , the subittles pack is shown as "product_bonus_38563"
Excellent! I've been waiting for the price of Ink to come down to own it. I can pick up the bundled pair here for less than Ink is priced elsewhere. Thanks GOG!

And don't forget "Welt am Draht" from acclaimed director Rainer Werner Fassbinder (known for Berlin Alexanderplatz) and the "Thirteenth Floor" which are also about people living in virtual realities.
At irst I was't interested but the trailer for Ink tickled my curiosity.

Can't say the same for the trailer of the frame, filled with nothing. :P

Wishlisted Ink. :)

edit: oh, no french subtitles for it, I'll wait for that too (and quality subs too please, not the crap I got with that gamers movie).

Matrix is quite overrated (no, it is NOT a trilogy), and quite more AAA...
