I want to get the AMD FX 8350 for my Gigabyte 970A-DS3P. But i've seen this on amazon & i,m a little confused.

Hi, yes it does. I have used this motherboard and the FX 8350. The 8350 will fit in any AM3+ mother boards, however I WOULD NOT recommend this board the fx 8350 uses 125W of power and this board is only capable of delivery 100w of that, which means that the motherboard has very loud coil whine and you cannot over clock the CPU properly. I recommend you look at the MSI 970A-G43 a much more reliable and much better motherboard. Good luck and if you need any more help just ask. :)
Gigabytes website say it can support it. i've googled it & what i find is the Gigabyte 970A-DS3 not supporting it. I may have answered my own question here but i just like to know has anyone got this motherboard & can confirmed this for me. Thank you
