The "Strategy" filter is woefully lacking.
Battle Chess is an excellent start, but I very much want to see more. More early and rare RTS games, like Z and Dark Reign.
I see on the Wishlist that they're doing fairly well, but consider this a vote for the entire filter!

I figure, if they put enough effort in to make a Strategy Category, they're probably going to put some games in there sooner or later. Right now we're looking at two titles a week in the Beta, For a service that's supposed to last a long time, I would imagine that's a fairly quick stream of games actually..
I think we will see more here... The site is still in Beta... I think you can bet when they go live there will be a number of marque releases. Besides, the site is only a month old... give it time and the different categorys will be fleshed out more.

Actually, it is a bit older, it was released in july

Actually there are posts about the beta going back as far as July. I know someone bumped a really old topic. Apparently the first invited beta started back then. Some codes were being given away at an expo.
EDIT:
I can no longer seem to find the post that I was referring to, I suspect admins deleted it.. It had the usernames of some fairly big people (journalists, webcomic dudes, etc..) and I can see why it probably would have been removed.
EDIT EDIT:
nope, I found it http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/welcome/21

RTS is my favorite gameplay by far, and I would definjitely love to see more of these.
Only thing is, a good RTS even if its singleplayer game is fantastic really proves itself in multiplayer. I would love it if GOG got some sort of service together that would let us play all these old games with each other online. They could just do it for the very most popular games at first, perhaps, and then perhaps spread out to the middleweights? RTS's I think possibly more than any other game type would benefit from this. Lots of the single-player portions of them are mediocre to bad, and their challenge and fun isn't even remotely close to what online gives you.
The MYTH series was great because it didn't have a system based on collecting resources and building units.
You get your units at the start of the mission and have to use good battle strategy and formation to keep them alive.
I personally am a big fan of Age of Empires 1+2, I know it's still available in stores, but as a 9.99 CD. So I could see Age of Empires on here.

I'm just not sure what to do with an RTS once you've got it. Play the single player game? That's kind of like going to a feast and eating only the parsley garnish.

I love the single player.. *sniff
Anyway, I forget how it works, I believe they have multiplayer but I don't know if they use a network like Blizzard or if it's more like an FPS system, I'll have to check it out when I get home.
I have just one word to add to this topic.....
TROPICO!!!
Err why are you all looking at me like that?
Tropico was fun, but I enjoyed Tropico 2 more... Still have those disks kicking around somewhere... Should find em and play them again.
