The community is immature and grouchy. I never posted a single thing in the forums, but looking at the threads and posts makes me sick to the stomach. Majority of posters seem to be the elitist frogs in the well type of people, indulging in their own achievements within their own circle of like-minded cohorts, unaware of the big vast world out there. Kinda sad.
Not to mention the game itself gets incredibly tedious and boring after a while. *bang* *wait 1 second* *bang* *wait 1 second* *bang* *one out of the 3 zombies chasing you dies* Hooray excitement. The dev also thinks having to log out of a server to access inventory adds to the idea of fun, so I guess that about ices the cake.
Anyway, I've said this in my post earlier on but I'll say it again: give Darkwind a shot ;)
