Hey guys,
My back-up hard drive died the other day, so I thought I would go about re-downloading my GOG.com installers (for Windows). I just noticed that several games I own here which previously had newer 2.0 installers are now only showing the original installers available for download.

Arcanum
Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate II
Deus Ex
Fallout
Fallout 2
Icewind Dale
Lands of Lore 1+2
Might and Magic 6 pack
Planescape Torment

All of these games had 2.0 installers that are no longer listed, and some had extra fixes (at least I know BG1's 2.0 installer fixed problems with direct draw).

Does anybody know why the 2.0 versions have been pulled and when we can expect to see them back again, if at all?

Thanks,
Alex

Problems with some servers / cache probably : showing olders files.

Wait till all things become normal to download those, because you will have to download them twice -_-

still it's unbelievable this issue is still present o_O , unless gog store olders files just as collecting purpose :D

i will drop a msg to the support ;)

Don't forget Zeus + Poseidon. Been waiting for a 2.0 for a while, considering its predecessors Caesar III and Pharaoh both have 2.0s.
Good thing I saw this thread before downloading the "updated" versions. You can also add Legacy of Kain: Defiance to the List.
Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering why Fallout wasn't showing up as a 2.x download when I tried earlier.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting that :D. All of the games that you listed should have their 2.0 installers back on-line.
Thanks the reply's guys.

Looks like the new 2.0 installer for all the games I listed are back up now. I guess it was a server problem like DyNaer said. I was afraid they had discovered some problem in the 2.0 installers, but it looks like all it back to normal. Back to re-downloading my entire library... this is going to take a while :)

LoK: Defiance doesn't appear to have been affected. I'll double check to make sure.

edit: I just double-checked and Defiance is showing and downloading a 2.0 installer.

Double checked on my side and looks like I had a 1.0 installer on my hard drive, so this one was a real update. Oops.

Thanks for checking!

Thanks a ton! GOG FTW!

I was poking through my library again and noticed that Ultima 7 Complete & Ultima Underworld 1+2 also did not have a 2.0 installer listed, but I think I remember them being updated to 2.0. Is that correct?
That is strange, Fallout 1, 2, Badur's Gate II, Arcanum, and Planescape: Torment all show a 2.0.0 version on my shelf (even XIII which was removed from GOG's catalog while it was running on the 1.0.0 version, seems to have been upgrated as well). However the games that have not been updated to the current 2.0.0 version are Divine Divinity, Realms of Arkania 1+2, and Realms of Arkania 3.
