Simple question: Where is it possible to obtain such a thing?

I remember ages ago, seeing a Controller for the PS2 made completely out of Metal, I want an equivalent for the PS3.

I don't think you can get a metal housing, however you can get just a replacement shell in various colours and there is a metallic / chrome one available, then you could get metal or brass buttons for it :

Thanks for the links but I'm looking for an actual controller MADE out of metal, not just "Skins" for it

Yeah, was doing a search for them yesterday and thats all I could find, even searched the made in china website for one but no luck.

You may have to strip a PS3 controller down to be able to get a mold and actually get the shell custom made, you will need to look at a lightweight metal or it will be to heavy and uncomfortable.
