well, that's all for me for today, managed to get my short sword skill and my health to 25 and my slash is currently at 14.

Playing this game is like a blast to the past. In particular, it feels like Ultima Underworld with MUD functions, but in a very good way. Didn't have time to get past the garden part, but I'll try it again when I have the time.

Trying to update my client ended in no progress after a single file was downloaded. I could repeat the process and it would download a new file each time though, so I went through that pain. After each two successful file downloads, I had to restart the client as it would no longer connect. But now at around file 30 I've encountered an error that I can not circumvent, namely 'Couldn't uncompress the download file download\newc0013.arg. Reason: Unable to create temporary file.' :/
Pity, I was really looking forward to playing some decent MMORPG with a couple GoGers :/

Any suggestions, or ideas whom I should try and address?

Edit:
I managed to fix this very issue, but now if I try to log on, the actual game map stays black leaving me rather unable to play the game. Setting software render mode and restarting the client didn't change anything. Any suggestions?
