So Beamdog/BioWare finally pushed MDK2 for Wii through (according to the Wii Shop, the only compatible controllers are the Wiimote+Wiichucks, which might prove difficult when playing as Max), but where's the new HD redress we were promised? I haven't seen one shred of a news update for nearly a year!
Supposed to be exclusive to the Beamdog service. They have been talking about it but nothing as yet, the Wii version was the priority so I assume they are fully focussed on the PC version now.
I'd rather have an HD version of MDK1, to tell the truth. I never did like MDK2 much.
You know what'd be really nice? If BioWare slipped some sort of Coil Suit crossover DLC for DA2 or ME2/3. But that'd probably entail massive licensing undertakings between EA and Interplay. Or would it? I mean, MDK 1 was a Shiny (now owned by Atari) production, not Bioware, which is probably why an HD version hasn't shown up yet. But I've always suspected the "Explorer" line of armor in Mass Effect to be a nod to EWJ (another Shiny game), since both have a similar colour scheme. I forgot where I was going with this.

The original was far superior.
