i was sad that neither of them really impressed me, though. i'm holding out for a goty or ultimate box of NFS: hot pursuit.
the only acivision game i bought in the last couple years was prototype, but that was used.

I only tried the demo of Blur and I found it much better than I expected.
NFS:HP on the other hand, is for me the biggest disappointment of a racer since Dirt 2. It's way to arcade, it's more like Mario Kart in different clothing.
and again, you say that NFS:HP is too arcade, but not blur. in blur, that was exactly what they were going for was arcade.
to each their own, i guess. i enjoyed NFS:HP, but not blur or split/second. as for my preference, i tend to lean towards arcade racers anyway.
