Rakuru: Still, would be nice if Rockstar came to GOG, especially since it doesn't look like they're actively selling GTA 1 or 2 anymore.

Lugamo: Rockstar never sold them on Steam or any other digital store.
Well, not individually, but you could apparently get them as part of a GTA or Rockstar collection starting in 2008 before they were later removed. () They also used to be available free on Rockstar's website [url=http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/]here. It would probably be worth paying for them to be spruced up to work well with modern systems and bundled with the London packs.
6. Even the German federal agency for "media harmful to young persons" has removed Max Payne from its list of indexed videogames in 2012, but for some obscure reason other digital download services like Steam (or the game's publishers) still don't dare to allow Germans to buy or even activate it - while we can buy the retail version from Amazon without problems. I'd rather get an optimized and DRM-free installer from GOG though.
+ Steam version require of you to manually install sound patch to actually hear any music and get anything but picture from cutscenes (which is an absolute must) and you all must install patch for widescreen if you want to enjoy it on your 16:9 monitor like you should (optional).

GOG version would fix both of this problems with one blow.
I would buy the Max Payne games in a heartbeat. While I thought the second was a bit of a disappointment (still good, though), the first is one of the best of its genre.

Unfortunately, Take-Two is among the publishers who insist on having regional pricing/restrictions. Until GOG is able to change their minds, we will have to do without their games on the service. =(

Which is one of the reasons I barely buy anything on Steam nowadays. Pretty much everything I want is either available only as censored version or, like May Payne, not available at all. Until that changes (aka "Never") I cling to my retail versions of Max Payne 1/2.

umm.... gOg allow regional pricing now....
Would be great to see Max Payne here but that seems extremely unlikely considering Rockstar Games is one of the most pro-DRM companies out there at the moment, even worse than Ubisoft and EA.

Oh right, I forgot that GOG decided that, in cases where they can't get a game without regional pricing, they will cover any difference in pricing out of their own pocket. Still, I'm not sure how practical that solution is when it comes to old games. At least with newer ones, the difference usually is large enough to justify handing out $5.99 and $9.99 codes.

Maybe once store credit is implemented and GOG can give consumers the difference in that form, it will be practical to have old games with regional pricing as well and publishers like Capcom and Take-Two can be brought on board.
