I still have my original Master of Magic disc, one of the oldest game CDs in my collection (it still works, too). I spent ages playing this game as a kid, and I still go back to it once in a while. It's just incredibly replayable.
It's too bad the AI was so erratic, though.

Heh, I totally missed that. However, I did notice the Master of Magic Forum that was created here at about the same time the Master of Orion Forum was created.
I also played this game to death when I was younger. I had long since lost the disks in multiple moves, so I had to use 'alternative' means to find and re-install the game a year or so ago. This way, I can buy the game again and have a legitimate copy (just like I did with MoO/MoO2)!
