Does anyone know if Mass Effect 3 will run as good as Mass Effect 2 on my old laptop? And if you buy the physical store version of this game, will you have to download the game from Origin?

There is a demo that should show you how good it might run. And you need Origin running to play the game. How much will be on the disk and how much needs to be downloaded, no clue.

You have to deal with Origin but here it is.
I found the demo to look better and run faster than ME2... wich is weird, since my graphic card (GeForce 8500 GT) is old and no longer supported.

Then again, people with a much better machine than mine have had the opposite experience. *shrugs*

On my system vanilla Skyrim ran better than vanilla Oblivion...O_o

Maybe people just got better at programming ;-)
You have to buy a DLC which unlocks full performance. Don't worry though, it'll be available on launch day.

The system requirement are slightly higher, but if you still got them, the game should run nearly as good, since it's the same engine.
