OmegaX: I do have a serial number, 3 in fact and I've read that they unlock the DLC. Hopefully it will activate right away then.

GamersGate just added this note in my games list after my ME2 serials:
NOTE: You will not be able to play the game if you are outside of North America
I hope they forgot to add "until the 29th" or I will be pissed. I shouldn't be able to buy the game from them if it isn't available in my region like I can't buy C&C Red Alert from them.

Wolfox: Any news on that? I'm at South America too, and I'm also considering buying it from Gamersgate. Did you get it to work?

Aliasalpha: Also, a few awesome and pointless details. The normandy has a functional waste ejection system and it has BATHROOMS! You even get told off by the shipboard AI if you go into the wrong one

OmegaX: I finished downloading the game yesterday but I can't pass the release date check because of my ip. This has nothing to do with GamersGate but with EA. I asked questions on Bioware's forum and I was redirected to the following thread:

Basically I have to wait until January 29th at midnight GMT (UTC). If I understood correctly then in 5 hours I should be able to unlock the game so I'll check as soon as I get home from work and post my results.
You are from Brazil so for you the game unlocks at 1/28/10 23:00GMT/3:00 PST, one hour earlier than for me.

AlphaMonkey: Heh. Yeah, I was watching something on YouTube where they had one of the game designers doing like a ten minute playthrough of the game. They had him aboard the Normandy just doing some random stuff, and he walked into the ladies' head. Hearing Tricia Helfer go "These are the women's facilities. The men's facilities are over on the other side of the corridor..." or whatever she says made me snicker quite a bit.

OmegaX: Ok, I just activated the game and played a little. I registered my 2 promo codes and got the following DLC:
- Collectors' Weapon and Armor
- Incisor Sniper Rifle
- Zaeed - The Price of Revenge (Cerberus Network)
- Normandy Crash Site (Cerberus Network)
Shouldn't I have gotten the Inferno Armor as well since I pre-ordered from GamersGate? Does anybody know if it is included with one of the above DLC?

I got three: the first one was for activating the game, the second was for cerberus network, and the third was for the collector's stuff and incissor rifle.
I contacted GG support so I hope they resolve this quickly.
Is anyone that pre-ordered from GamersGate missing the Inferno Armor too?

Lucibel: I got Inferno Armour but I got the standard edition with pre-order bonus...did the order page definitely say you got the Inferno Armour?
Maybe people who got the CE don't get the IA because they get another type of armour.

OmegaX: Yes, it did say that I'd get the Inferno Armor if I pre-ordered but since the pre-order time has passed it doesn't say it anymore.
How many serials do you have with the standard edition? I bought the DDE and I got 3:
- The first one was like this: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and I used it to activate the game and register it at Bioware's site.
- The second one was like this: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and it granted me access to the Cerberus Network.
- The third one was in the same format as the second and it unlocked Collector's armor and weapon and the Incissor rifle.
None of my serials gave me the Infermo Armor so I suppose I'm missing one.
