However, I can't add it to cart - there's no link to it. I'm not sure if this is a regional thing or if D2D has removed it. Can anyone from the UK verify if this is still up?

Why would you want it free? That's like having an STD free with every sexual intercourse.
Just kidding, Mafia is still quite a good game. I don't think you can cheat D2D like you could back then with the UK EA Store (some of will know what I'm talking about), so you will actually have to buy stuff.
And it also doesn't look like it works.

It DID work for a couple hours earlier in the day (I got it). Either it was a screwup on D2D's part, or an ingenious bit of guerrilla marketing. It is still in my D2D account though, and the activation code worked fine. :)

Hmm, I just checked all 3 D2D sites, Mafia 2 with the free Mafia 1 isn't even among the countries sold here. WTF?

I got it for 99 cents a few years ago, complete in box with manual and map... crazy ebay luck.

Pretty sure it was already being fixed by the time savygamer posted that. I hopped on almost immediately after (within an hour) and could add it to my cart, but couldn't checkout.
