K, so I'm on this boss in Lost Planet Colonies, and I'm finding it quite impossible to beat. Game's on hard. Dude in that video starts with 3,000 T-Eng, I start with 1,000 every time I die.
Umm. Maybe this is a stupid question, but do I have to start the level over, get an arseload of T-Eng, then go after the boss? That seems unfair..and I thought I got as much as I could the first time. I know how to beat him, it just seems close to impossible with 1,000 T-Eng.
Would appreciate any help, cause I'm getting pretty fed up and want to quit. :(
Also I am posting here cause its the only gaming forum I like. :)

I beated him yesterday. What I did was to always stay pretty close to the boss, that way I got all the T-Eng he drops. I also let the boss destroy my first EV (it's almost 1000 T-Eng). And by the way, don't jump too much, just keep moving but do not jump (it consumes way too much T-Eng)

Like he said, stay close to him to get all the T-Eng he drop. Don't jump, use the strafe ability of your VS if it can strafe, shoot the legs like a mad man ! This boss is hard but not impossible to beat, even with only 1000 T-Eng at start.
Thanks for the advice. :)
I think the jumping is the part I was missing..I was doing the staying close thing before and seemed to survive long enough to get a nice bit of damage on him, but I guess jumping held me back.
I'll give it a shot later today.
Edit: beat him on my second try with your advice (almost on the first). Much easier than I had thought! Just stuck close to him, and when both VS' were gone I took out the stalactites to finish him off. Thanks guys. :)
