This probably doesn't fit in with the rest of those movies all that well, but based on that list I really recommend Comet in Moominland. It would be optimal if you could find it with Finnish voice acting and preferred subtitles ;)

Donnie Darko is one I'd really recommend, it's certainly quite an intelligent film, was misrepresented a bit in advertising as a horror film which it's not. (Also happens to be my favourite film)
The adventures of Baron Munchausen & The Imaginarium are also quite good (both by Terry Gilliam ) and The Prestige.
