"But I’m a previous customer, what am I gonna do, where am I gonna get my shiny v1.1 CODENAME: RED?
This has been my biggest concern, and please believe me when I say I’m doing eveything I can to give you an easy way of getting it. There is no way to get round the fact that I’m pretty much going to have to email several thousand people individually. :( So I hope you can understand that there will be some hold-ups, some delays, and some confusion as I work this out.
To start with, I’m hoping to be offering Steam Keys to all my existing customers (I’m in talks about this), if they’re happy with that, and if not, I am working on a way to mass distribute the files themselves. It’s not a patch, it’s a full 80mb update, so I have to find something that’s going to be robust and at least a bit secure.
I’d just ask that you bear with me, and that if possible you could save the official requests for the update until I announce officially that I’m giving it out, by which time I hope to have the means to do so in place, if everything goes to plan.
I know it’s frustrating with the new build being on Steam, but that had to be my priority for the last couple of weeks, as the launch window is small.
Thanks so much for your patience with this build, and there really isn’t a large difference between the two versions, so I hope that you don’t feel you’re missing out in the meantime!"
For those that bought LS on the Superflat site ^^^
I have emailed Jasper with the info he needs to contact the appropriate person/s at GOG to negotiate having his game released here. So, what happens from this point is up to the people involved in this process. Hope he and GOG see it as a good idea and both parties and can come to an agreement.
