There has been nothing at all to indicate that the GW servers are coming down even remotely soon. I think they will stay up well after GW2 comes out. You have years.

Haven't logged in in a long while, kinda bummed out with Anet since they announced they'll have RMT in GW2. Plus getting those last 5 points in the HOM is a real drag. Still, pre-purchased the GW2 standard edition so I can play it and see for myself whether it's a worthy successor or not.

Will probably end up spending most of the beta weekend (next week!) in WvW, don't wanna spoil the PvE too much. Anybody else plans to be there?

I won't be there Friday unfortunately, but I do have my Saturday and Sunday cleared for the beta.
