I should probably be posting this on a steam forum but I just find gog to be far more convenient. Besides steam would probably send that annoying temp password thingy. Sometimes I imagine that logging in to my bank account is far less convoluted than steam.

Nevertheless, my dilemma is that I have been stuck on the final level in sacrifice on expert for nearly 4 days now (I play for a couple of hours each day so it is like nearly 7-8 tries)

Anyway, I'd just like to know what is the best approach strategy for "The sacrifice". I have succeeded in getting to the bridge (final act) on both single player and online. I don't know what should be done once your on the bridge since everyone just dies so quickly and the tank rush is too much to handle if there are only two survivors left. Any tips or suggestions would be welcome....

Ever far cry 1 on its hardest difficulty setting was easier than this.

Solo?

Left 4 Dead on normal is pretty tough solo sometimes, it's designed for 4 humans.

So there is no way to finish the last campaign on single player unless I co-op with a good team then?...

I had no trouble finishing all campaigns on single player until this one.

Well on expert it has to be damn hard to solo, is all I am saying. I had trouble with the ending standoffs on normal. Someone else might be able to give specific tips.

Shoot the zombies in the head, avoid contact with Boomers and the Witch, and anything that moves, in general. That should do it.

Its best to do one generator at a time and save a pipe bomb for the end. Once the bridge is lowered, run up the ladder and make sure all surviving members are on the bridge, then hit the switch at the top. Now, the bridge will jam and someone has to sacrifice to turn the last generator back on. This is where i used the pipe bomb to clear a path to the generator.

yeah the difficult part is that in singleplayer YOU have to sacrifice yourself

also, you can't agree with your team members to keep at least one pipe and on moltov as backup like with humans.

I thought about it. Checked out some walkthroughs. I suppose I"ll play it online and equip one of my teamates with a molotov that will set the ladder on fire and but the survivors some time. Then jump as bill and throw the pipe thingy in the nick of time effectively accomplishing the campaign.
