Hi guys! Just wondering if any of you know any games with pre-rendered 2D backgrounds and 3D characters. I am referring to games similar to Final Fantasy 7, Silver, Grom: Terror in Tibet. I really like that style and I would like to play other ones, as i've finished the ones mentioned above.

hmm not really the same genre, but the first 3 resident evil games. And in cold blood i think.

Alone in the Dark, the early Resident Evil titles, Bioforge, Time Commando, and many adventure games use this style. Just look around, there's plenty of them.

Septerra Core? Not completely sure if it fits those criteria, but maybe take a look at some of the screenshots on the gamecard, see if it does. It's also a JRPG-style game:

I sort of miss pre rendered backgrounds, they look pretty.

If you're open to more than PC games, I have a few recommendations:
