I think i did a bad thing. I'm already downloading games at work because i have no internet at home. So I'm surfing GOG and what catches my eye? Nothing more spectacular than paying what I want for a game. No way, unheard of. So i click. I see the truth. and i (without mercy and full cognizance of my current action) wiggle the slider down to the 1$ mark. Mind you i've been in a gaming slump for a few years (having my house ransacked and burglarized, thousands of $$$$ worth and decades of technological bliss gone) not having an x box or the like i turned to gog gods. i have so much praise for this site and so little to give. so little pocket money with a little spawn of my self on the way, my money goes to the well being of a child yet not know. so i hope i can be forgiven. Guilt let me be. Praise be to GOG.
It was GOG who came up with PWYW idea, they're bound to also take the fact that a lot of people will pay one buck into consideration. Basically: It's fine :D
I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

what you did was not a bad thing.

I once shot a child in Shady Sands, just to get that perk.

Love the Johnny Cash reference. I, for the most part, agree. If you're really strapped for cash and only want to pay a buck, that's alright. It may be bad karma however. So after playing the game, talk about it. Spread the word about the game to give the publishers advertising. If you can influence a couple people to buy the game than that's two sales they may not have gotten. In my opinion it's a net zero, karma wise.

Unless Karma is the name of your wife and you're considering to cheat on her you will be fine.
You are not that bad, at least you spent 1 whole Dollar. It would have been much worse, if you had knows that you can manually adjust the price down to an unworthy amount of 1 cent!
At least you gave a dollar to GOG, that's already something

Compare that to other people who registered on this website and ONLY have the free games and grabbed special free promo games

So don't feel bad, you have already given a hundred times more than those people ever will, in cents, that is

Here's a funny question for the topic: What can you buy for 1 US Dollar in Poland?

Oooh, that's what I'm gonna do!

What I like about pay what you want is that it gets more buyers. Divine Divinity is not worth $6. It's not worth $1 to me right now, so I'm still not buying. But if it's worth $1 for you, then that's 1 more sale for GOG.

I hope they do these sorts of sales on occasion for titles that don't see much action. Lots of folks will try out a game for a dollar.

You're right, its worth at least $10.
What kind of work do you do? I think I want your job.
"They say I shot a man named Gray and took his wife to Italy.
She inherited a million bucks and when she died it came to me.
I can’t help it if I’m lucky."

And you're lucky too if you're happy with your 1$ purchase. No need to feel guilty.
my exact reply.. "HAHA...aww."
