Specifically, the demo. Anyone tried it? After creating an EU PSN account to get my hands on the demo without having to pay for the Plus subscription (next time Sony, if you want to charge people for crap, be consistent in each region), I tried it and it's not that good.
The game seems to end when you blow up a water tank and doesn't tell you it's the end, and also the shakycam thing is really, really, really nauseating (it gets worse when you sprint). Yeah, you can turn it off, but when you do the game just looks really shitty. If this is representative of the full game, I don't want it.

Waiting on the PC demo, but I am enthused. I very much liked the first one, especially the first half, and I am sure this one will be a lot better.
The original was an interactive Michael Mann movie, which was likely on my top ten desires list all my life before that. The graphics were iffy, but had a certain style... I never had the technical problems others did. My only real issue was the game fell apart in the last few levels which were a lot different and less impressive.
I'll certainly give the demo a go, I rather enjoyed the first one, it and gears of war are the only 2 games where I enjoyed competitive multiplayer. The visuals are not exactly something I'm enthused with but I guess I'll have to play it to see how it goes.
Does the demo have coop?

The demo doesn't have coop. Which is weird because the original game's demo did.
I downloaded the PS3 demo but didn't have the time to check it.
I have long stopped putting to much faith in other people's reviews/"reviews" after all these years. Good examples are the first of the series, which people condemned it for being shit or shit mediocre at best. I had a lot of fun the couple of days I had a copy of it. Eventually I will buy it. Or how so many people hated Alpha Protocol and loved Bioshock, where my feelings are the exact opposite.
Anyhow, I hope it is at least as good as the first game. I was expecting the movie to come out first, but I guess I was wrong.
