I just feel like sharing this with you all.
I was a really huge steam fan. To this date, I have 80 games on it, I think.
Always hate it the fact that you have to be connected to the internet to have a nice experience playing. What I meant is, the offline mode pretty much sucks.
Sometime ago, I was trying to complete all achievements in Portal, my connection went down seconds before I got the bronze medal achievements in the challange maps. To this day it remains bugged and no achievement for me, didn't even try to get gold after that.
I don't care about achievements, only in Portal I tried to do that, I prefer doing things just because it is cool or hard, like beating the 3 first resident evils using only the knife, took me a lot of time that one.
One day, I got to college and a friend came telling me "I got a website to show you." and then he showed me GoG...
"Oh my god! All the old games... they are here!"
"My childhood memories, they are all coming back!"
"Really? Polish?"
After that I created my account and started spending time looking at the games catalogue and wishlisting games until I noticed the community button.
I have created loads of accounts in internet foruns and never before I participated like I do on GoG, the people here are the best! The community really is generous and knows how to have civilized discussions.
Now I noticed: I don't enter Steam anymore, I really don't care about the games they are selling anymore, that slow program full of bugs. The only reason I still have my Steam account is because I cannot play my games without it and that is another thing that makes GoG perfect... DRM Free
Thank you GoG.
