I've said it in my current giveaway thread, but as I know not all forum members frequent the giveaways, I figured this warranted a separate thread.

I can't say thanks enough to the amazing people here on the GOG forums. I've always been treated well here and am quite fond of many of you, but this past week alone, I've been shown so much kindness by so many of you folks that I am nearly speechless.

It's been a trying time health-wise of late, and I haven't had much interaction socially outside of the internet, yet I feel surrounded with friends, thanks to you all. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate all of you, and I could never put to words just how much it means to me to be shown such kindness from so many wonderful people.

Thanks a million times over to all of you.

*edit* You guys are awesome. Please know though that I mentioned health issues only for context, as it does make all of this mean more to me, but there is no need to worry for me, I've got fantastic medical care and all will be well in time. :)

I appreciate the kind words! And today just got awesome out of nowhere. My wife tried to get in touch with NPR public radio yesterday to update our information so our donation is billed to the right account...

And dude from NPR just called back, told me info was updated, and also that my wife just WON AN IPAD MINI. I would have thought it was a scam call had she not spoken to the man yesterday. This is totally gonna make her day. It's been a week of good energy all around, it seems. :)
