Here's another vote for the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I was impressed by how well it worked with FS2_Open; the game was horrible on my old, aging Saitek Cyborg 3D, but it practically came alive with the Extreme 3D Pro. For other lefties, YMMV, but for me, my handedness wasn't too much of an issue. All in all I'd say it's the best joystick I've used to date.

The Wingman Attack 3 is also decent if you're really on a budget; the only major beef I have with it is that it lacks a hat switch, which drove me nuts.
