R.I.P.
I was really saddened by this news, Paranoia Agent is one of my favourite shows and I was really looking forward to his next project, whatever it might have been.
Wow, what a shock! I did appreciate his movies (Tokyo Godfathers, Perfect Blue, etc.), it's sad to see such a talented person die at such a young age...
how sad, damn cancer is taking everybody.
Millennium Actress is a strong candidate for best animated anything ever. For its creator to go out at 46 . . . it just ain't right.
While I have to admit I did not recognise the name (I'm crap with remembering people's names) I am a fan of his work like Perfect Blue and Paranoia Agent, and his work was truly unique. This is sad news indeed, RIP.
darn, I loved Paprika. Need to watch Perfect Blue.
Perfect Blue <3 R.I.P Kon, you have done good work.
How sad. So now is the time to finally go and watch some of his other movies. I went through Perfect blue like three times, and was really impressed. No doubt that the rest of his works will have the same impact. He died much too young, I guess he flew to close to the sun =(
I honestly wasn't too in love with Paranoia Agent overall, but the "Happy Family Planning" episode was full of WIN.
Also his last blog entry, posted posthumously, and English translation
