News report including whats left of his Porsche

Probably one of my favorite Jackass stars, and an overall stupid way to die, but not surprising given his lifestyle. Sad that he finally got his own show after so many years and he dies within a week of the premier.
Not surprised in the slightest.
I am surprised, but mostly because I had forgotten all about him (and the rest of the cast).
Still sad of course.

Lulzsec did it.
Oh. The loss. The terrible, terrible loss. That poor car.
Yeah, well, drink and drive (or get in a car with someone that has) and you kinda deserve what you get. Sure, it is too bad he died, but he WAS asking for it. I am just glad he didn't take any innocent bystanders with him; looking at his car, it seems he went out in a blaze of "glory".

EDIT:
Oh, I guess he might have killed a bystander. I took 'unidentified third party' as a passenger, but I suppose it could have been someone in another car or a pedestrian. If he did, in fact, kill someone with his stupidity, then well... I have nothing nice to say about him...

the wreck is just unbelievably destroyed. more like a trash found in scrapyard after it was left there fifty years ago.

I feel sorry for the passenger... died because his friend was an idiot.
For fellow GOGers who like drinking just a little more, enjoy (not)!

Died because they were both fucking retards, would be more accurate.

Two more for the Darwin Awards.
Jackass ? Ryan Dunn ?
Drinking, Driving, Txting/Tweeting, and his car looks like it was put in a trash compactor... I'm really sorry for his death but... wow...

I dunno. Dunn probably didn't force that person into the car. Who is dumber: the person who drinks and drive, or the person that rides with them? I kinda think they are equally stupid, in that case, but opinions may vary.
He died only a few days after his birthday. R.I.P. to him & the passenger.

Damn. That wreck looks as brutal as when former NBA player Eddie Griffin died a few yrs ago.
That's... a car? I've never seen a vehicle that demolished. And I watch Mythbusters.

Not the most tactful posts of all time, but yes. When you get in the car you're responsible for that decision. Now, you're not as responsible for what happens as the driver is, but particularly for people who get into the car with a drunk driver, they aren't entirely without blame.

In this case it will be interesting to see if alcohol played a part or if this was solely a case of losing control of the car at high speed.

Then again, sometimes things aren't as they seem. From what I've heard James Dean probably wasn't at fault in the wreck that killed him.

Most likely that's the biggest piece. Sports cars are anything but durable. I wasn't there, but most of the rest of the car probably disintegrated on impact

I've argued with folks about it in the past, but speed kills. It isn't some liberal conspiracy to keep folks from having fun, the faster you go the more likely you are to die if there's a crash.
