cogadh: The only difference between then and now is the visual changes they made to the website. Still, its good to see they appear to be sticking to that promise.

Over the year they've added old development footage to their youtube channel. Be sure to check it out!
I almost pooped my pants when I went to the site today, and saw the page was different.
I thought 'OMG, they released it !!!!!!!'.
Then I saw it was just a page update, and cried.
:P
Good news, hoping for a new trailer before. :)
I'm curious about Xen too, because for me it sucked in HL1. One thing that I want to see is how they'll come with a bandwidth to support all people downloading it, or they will spread the installers in every gaming site. Even steam sometimes can't handle the games, so I imagine how a mod so expected like Black Mesa (it isn't called Source anymore) will do it.
Valve buys the team in the last days? Who knows.

If they are smart they will release on Torrents a little like what EA did with the big updates for Warhammer Online.

Yeah you're right, I'm kinda sleepy now so can't think right, but still one hell of a number of downloads. I didn't know that EA did that.

EA have been acting out of character for a while now.

Well let's look in a positive way. Maybe they'll release some GOGs soon, just to act different.

Releasing Red Alert for free then encouraging people to torrent it, burn the image to disc or use a virtual drive was like "wut? Is this the same paranoid DRM-fest EA?".

Miaghstir: Now if I only had Steam and a Source game...

TF2 was $2.50 on steam today. Get Orange Box in a next deal then, or HL2 deathmatch. :/
Supported games: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Price&sort_order=ASC&category1=998&category2=16

Where would you read they're already done? Maybe you didn't take the post with a grain of salt...
