That was back in May or something, I'm sure people who'd freak out over something as dumb as this already forgot about it/dismissed it long ago and continued panicking :)

I'll be ok with zombies :P

As this is GOG I'm expecting somebody to say how the old 13th Baktun was much better than this new-fangled 14th Baktun we have today. They just don't make Baktuns how they used to.

It's a real let-down. No one was sacrificed on an altar of blood. No appearances of the feathered serpent god.

Really, you kids these days don't know what you're missing.

EDIT: Yes, yes, Quetzacoatl isn't Mayan. I know.

The Mayan feathered serpent god is Kukulkan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kukulcan). So hard to keep mythologies straight....

Big_Boss: Berlusconi is back.
So this is the end of the world as we know (italian people) it.
Yeah, about that. It's basically popcorn and smiley faces for everyone else. Sorry, but it's the truth.

I didn't say that.
I only said that if Italy is in a horrible condition right now, with Berlusconi we can do "better".
I was told by a Trusted source, from deep in the the Mayan Gods inner-circle, that the End of The World has been Cancelled due to a lack luster acceptance from the poor humans living on Earth
C'mon where are the world class Hollywood special effects? I'm only about 25 miles from Hollywood. I feel let-down ;) What was supposed to be Earth shattering ended up being a really wimpy fart. I cannot wait for NEW predictions of yet another world ending event.
There was a scare earlier.
Early reports were that my home state of Missouri had been completely obliterated; totally wiped out; gone.
The panic was soon put to rest when authorities for the 'show me state' announced, "Don't worry; nothing happened. It always looks like this here."
'bout sums it up for me...
