So, a friend an I would reallllly love to play the Old Dune games.

Dune, Dune 2000 etc.

Is there a way to request a game or something and pay for it?

I guess you sort of just requested it. After the usual forum goers find this thread, you're going to pay for it :p
Yes but the official wishlist has been defunct for awhile now. There is also a thread devoted to asking for GOG games. GOG has promised an updated wishlist.

Here is the old wishlist:

Official beg thread:

Unfortunately simply asking for it is no guarantee, GOG must track down the rights holders, get them agree to sell the game (if they don't already have a distribution agreement with them), and then get the game working on modern systems. All of this varies in difficulty by game & publisher - so it's a case by case basis. We never know exactly when something will pop up on GOG.

Oh also ... welcome to the GOG community forums :)

If you still have your floppies of the game, try sending them to GOG. It usually speeds the process up greatly.

Doesn't work that way. GOG needs to get the approval of every party that has contractual ownership of the game(s). Acquiring that, they must try to fix the game to accommodate a modern PC (sometimes it's easy - just add DosBox, but other times... not so). And if everything up to this point was sufficiently solved, you mist wait for a free game release date to open (gog adds only two games per week). Most of the time, we get stuck at the contract phase (aka sucks to be us).

Don't listen to his false lies, simply foward a small fee on my account and the game will be on GOG shortly.

Do you have some references to verify this claim?

Well, as soon as you send them the floppies they can upload the games here?
Jeez, am I the only one doing the thinking here?

Oh, thank-you for your baseless claims and misleading sarcasm.

Doesn't work in my experience. I kept sending them images of my floppy, and all I got for the effort was a restraining order.

I didn't even know they could do that from Poland!

Get some viagra. Then send them pictures of your hard drive instead. Works like a ch... I mean I have a friend that says it works like a charm.

I just spat biscuits crumbs over my desk. Thanks for that!
