That would be cool if there was.

I think it would be interesting if that was an Oregon Trail like game were you played as a ranger, a rouge, a warrior or a mage were you traveled to some distant land in a fantasy setting, braving the elements, bandits, beasts and such along the way. All while making your supplies for the journey last or find ways to scrounge along the way.

Is there anything like that?

In Amazon Trail you can explore the amazon river with a guide and travel up river as you go back in time and seethe sights the river has seen over the years. You can also trades items to others along the way(NPCs) and take photos of animals and planets and such to gain badges by the end of the game.

Then there is Yukon Trail where you play a gold rush person going to the Yukon to mine for gold which is also quite fun.

If you are looking for ranger AND rouge AND warrior AND mage traveling group then you could look for Lord of the Rings based games :D ;)

Are there any that are similar to Oregon Trail? With supply managmenent and such and not so combat based?
Nothing comes to mind except for Oregon Trail (So yes, it's similar to itself and sequels, silly answer). I've seen a clone once, someone I know played it on a forum called gaiaonline, but if you want ranger/rouge/warrior/mage based travel and supply management, I imagine you'll either have to create it in Dungeons and Dragons or make a mod for another game.
You can always play the organ trail, which works roughly like the Oregon trail, but with zombies. Not exactly what you are looking for, but it is an alternative at least.
So Long, Oregon. Let's go find El Dorado

Doesn't fit your description, but could still be loosely described as a fantasy version of Oregon Trail.

Lol at Shaun of the Dead on the game's party selection screen, aling with the guy from Zombieland to his left.

I wonder who the other 3 are parodying?

(Middle is shaun obviously, and guy from Zombieland is to his left with blue shirt and cowboy hat. Dunno about red shirt cowboy or two chicks though...I think one might be Zoey from L4D...not sure though.)

The only thing that comes to mind is CIMA: The Enemy for the GBA where a train full of settlers kidnapped by beings who feed off of fear and run people through deadly mazes to gather it, and you then have to rescue them and lead them through the mazes unharmed.

But that's a hack and slash dungeon crawler (well with assigning orders and pathing for the NPCs), not a simulation game.

Thanks! that was a lot of fun.
I haven't played this, but Silk Road Online is apparently an MMO with traveling, trading, and the sort along with combat. You might read up on that if you're looking for something to play for months or (gasp) years.

Ranger and Rouge? Sounds like "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert Trail". ;)

I was just thinking that. Glad someone else picked up on that ;)
