Is information edible? My dog sure seems to thinks so.

I think questions like this is ideally analyzed if you assume a perspective beforehand like from a phycisist's POV or a philosopher's POV.

Physically speaking I would say there's an underlining bluerprint of the universe and everything in it is information.

Philosophically speaking I'm not really sure. I suppose there are numerous theories that tries to prove one way or another like the difference between what we percieve as information because it's practical or because it's almost non-existant (like a non-practical thought, whatever that would be).

They say that all the atoms of the internet, measured together, weigh about as much as a strawberry.

And I do like me a strawberry.
