...just boring. Somehow the heros' legends are popular right now, but if they aren't really good, it's easy to ignore them completely.

The combat system is pretty much copy-pasted from God of War.

I won't complain about the mythological setting because it is a highly reusable sandbox but I was hoping for something a bit original.

There were a series of titles that ripped the combat system straight out of God of War. The last Spider-man game that came out, the Pirates of the Caribbean MMORPG that was cancelled, etc.

People jump on bandwagons hoping to make a quick buck. Just look at Asylum and their shitty rip off movies (and they somehow managed to get Bruce Boxleitner; why, Bruce? WhYYYYYYY?!). Best you can hope for is they lose their shirts and keep just one more piece of mediocre, uninspired, insipid shit off the shelf.

I've got this swell idea for a game about an academy for young witches that involves mostly hidden object searching and matching three tiles of the same pattern with bonus rounds where you try to shoot balls together so that they match and disappear before they reach the end of the line!
