bazilisek: Well, the site got hit badly, but that's separate from the download servers. I don't know how those fared, but I'm guessing much better -- after all, I'm guessing a rather small percentage of those who rushed in to grab the free copy downloaded it straight away.
It won't all hit at immediately the same time.

Besides, it's 1GB. Most with high speed internet should be done before others get home from work, etc. etc.

Good! :D As for first part, I do not think we'll got the exact figures. But Legend of Grimrock on first place on the list is the main reason of my worry.

Does GOG have the servers at the same location as gram.pl, your ex-sister company? :D I hardly survived yesterday's DDoS during sale of Guild Wars 2 pre-purchase and I hope GOG will be better. It would be nice to forget about my yesterday's experience and just relax this time.

Yes, but downloads of Fallout were distributed in time - this time I think most people will amass at exact time of release.
