Asbeau: The answer to every 'is it just me?' question posted on the internet is 'no'.
"Is it just me who is writing this post right now?"

'no'

"Wait ... what?"

I own a PS3.
In some cases the Xbox 360 is superior, in others the PS3 is superior. Nothing to get worked up about. If you must make a choice in the end it's about the exclusives. Which fit you better? For me the answer was PS3.

I prefer the PC for gaming, especially since I got a new one. Haven't used the PS3 much lately, but when I do I'm just having fun, never looking for reasons why one platform would be better than the other.
My PC is too crap for newer games, so my consoles get a lot of use. I just enjoy good games, regardless of platform. The only thing hurting gaming as a hobby is the soulless big publishing houses, churning out the same crap year on year...

I had no idea there was this console war partisan thing going around I got Internet a year ago. I don't see the point in a "PC gamer"/"Console gamer" dichotomy.

I'm pretty apathetic to them, although I don't like Sony because of their anti-consumer policies (i.e. the rootkit fiasco a few years ago and them taking away linux for starters) :\

I find the flame wars to be fun to watch though and convenient for cooking smores :P
