This is meant as the opposite of the Irritating misconceptions about the real world in games thread.

My number one pet peeve in RPG is limited inventory. For me it just makes the game longer to play as I just do multiple trips to carry everything I can.

I would probably like Halo if I could carry every gun I find.

I think this kind of thing should at least be an option in games.
Limited inventory is a legitimate part of many games, specially adventure games and I think roguelikes too.
In some other games, while it could be for technical reasons (?) I guess it can get pretty annoying.
Not sure how that works in RPGs.

I do like to hoard items in games and I wish there would be games catering to that desire. Something with unlimited inventory, and tons of cool loot. Animal Crossing might have been perfect for this if it let me hoard more, but alack, there's not enough space. Terraria was pretty great for it, until the point in the game that made me stop playing (not very related to hoarding, I just can't beat a boss but I need to defeat it to progress).

As for the topic, I guess guests getting lost in RollerCoaster Tycoon can get pretty annoying? I know it's supposed to make people plan efficient paths, but a big enough park will eventually develop that problem and then it won't quite be solvable. Planning around that can be really difficult, specially in some maps where they put such planning as one of the actual difficulty hazards. All I'm saying is, fuck you Evergreen Gardens.
