To bad I live an Ocean away. Great initiave guys. If ever do a world tour make sure you stop at Lisbon so I go and have an "Imperial com tremoços" with you. (btw "Imperial" is a type of pressure beer we drink in Portugal and tremoços are great apetizers for summer.

TheEnigmaticT: We're talking to indie devs at two seperate events on the 18th and 19th. Drop an email to gdc@gog.com if you'd like to meet us for beer & snackskis. :)

shmerl: Will be there some way to submit questions for those who can't attend GDC in person (not only developers but users in general too)?
There will be an Internet-based Q&A for all of you who can't make it in person.

Great, thanks!
If you guys are even in Orlando, FL, or near that area, make the same offer and I'll come ^_^

So is this Q&A actually sometime today, or it's independent of the GDC event?
Hope everyone at the meetup has a great time tonight! Take some fun pictures and share with the rest of us. :)
Just got back from the GDC meetup with several strong beers and no food in me. Looks like I beat TET's press release, but I won't steal his thunder.

TET was rockin' the hat as always, Marcin was fairly reserved, I remember chatting with Venom for a bit, along with several others whose names I am currently blanking on (please don't hate me).

Overall quite nice to meet with both GOG staff and users and just chat gaming and as it applies to GOG. No pictures from myself, although I did see several flashes so I expect some photos to be incoming.

Eat and sleep now.

EDIT: And for some reason when asked I initially thought I'd joined Nov 2011... at least I got the month right. :/

Got back with meeting the wonderful staff of GOG visiting the Bay for GDC, thanks for hosting it was a pure delight to talk to you guys and just listen to you guys talk about your work. Please keep up the work.

P.S. Banished is Sim City meets Don't Starve ;)
Nice to see y'all had a good time, if only the rest of us in the world could make it too... now wouldn't have 'crashed' the party? :P
Made it home, found my Sharpie at the meetup so now I have a shirt signed by The Enigmatic T! Had a lot of fun meeting everyone, hope they have an awesome GDC and convince more developers to join the DRM Free Revolution!

I missed my chance to ask about NOLF though, damn black and tan made me all fuzzy!

Probably my favorite meet up of all; the guys were so open and honest, and how often do you get to ask questions of the team in person and have it posted to youtube.

thanks for the awesome night guys, Also thanks for the drink tickets :)
It was great meeting you guys!

I had a great time talking about Witcher games, lore, many other game franchises, DRM policies, digital distribution systems, etc. Thanks for the company, great conversations, t-shirt and beer! Hope to see you again if you ever decide to do another meet up in the area!
