I installed Gothic 2 today and I noticed this. Since it's no longer true on several levels (games are not longer just 5.99 or 9.99 and they are no longer the same price everywhere) you might want to add an asterisk. :P

He wasn't being rude. Kabuto was simply stating that he, Kabuto, is an emoticon noob. Now, if he had placed a comma after the word "emoticon" then yes, he would have been rude. No comma, no foul.
