From what I've seen of infamous at a mate's place, its a pretty swanky game and is actually on my purchase list if ever I can afford to buy the hardware required to play the bastard. There's actually enough unique PS3 games now to justify the purchase of the console, now I just need the money...

I may have to wait for some kind of sale, though. I can't justify paying $100 for a game these days. Way too expensive.

Yeah, I paid $90AU for my copy of Prototype then found it on Impulse for $48.50US a few days later, so it should be around $60AU, quite a good deal.

Just been playing the demo and I'm impressed. Almost enough to seriously consider importing via Amazon.com within the next couple of months.

But isn't it NA only on Impulse? IIRC it's also been reduced to $49.99 on Steam for Australia (USD or course). Which must be a kick in the teeth for anyone who preordered it at $60.

Yeah, it's NA-only on Impulse (it says on the game description), which sucks. I'd love to get a 20% discount on that, but instead I am shackled to the evils of console gaming.

Ah, didn't notice that. At least the Steam version is available for Aus as far as I know.
